We have now successfully been paired up with a small marine detachment located in a remote site in Iraq.
We have received the following from that detachment:
We are a small detachment of communications Marines at a remote site in Iraq.
There is not much infrastructure here and we do not get mail very often.
Thank you for allowing us to the opportunity to enjoy your support.
If possible we would like cigarettes (Marlboro Text Box: Menthol or Newport) for 6 Marines.
The other Marines here are going to sign up for other items.
We really appreciate the support that you are providing for us and will do anything that we can to not disappoint you.
We are currently putting a package together containing all the necessary items required in a remote site as such.
Anyone can contact the state Commander to find out where to send items they are contributing.
I will continue updating the website as well as this newsletter as more Text Box: information comes available.
